               The hotel at Palani has a minimal contemporary aesthetic, but one that is rooted in timeless, warm elegance. It is a hotel that sits at the base of the Palani Murugan temple.

           As you walk into the lobby of the hotel your gaze is focused by two double height stone clad walls at the beautiful temple that sits on top of a hill.

            The design allows natural light to flow through, and visual connections from most of the site to the temple. Getting the right balance of luxury and trying to retain the basic context of the town as a pilgrimage destination was of paramount importance
